ORACLE- Guide to install Oracle 11g in your local machine

Step 1:  Visit  to https://www.oracle.com/index.html  and make Oracle account.

Step 2: Login to Oracle account and then navigate to Download Section as below:

Step 3: Depending upon whether your system is 64 bit or 32 bit, download the                    as below:

Step 4 : Extract the zipped file and double click on SetUp to proceed with                           installation.

Step 5 : Read and accept the License agreement and proceed further.

Step 5 : Provide password and remember the same as it will be used while accessing Database.  

Step 6 : Once Oracle is installed , go to Command Prompt and type Sqlplus . It will show SQL Plus Release version installed and date and time of installation.       After that enter USER- NAME as SYSTEM  and PASSWORD as the password which you provided during installation time as in Step 5.

Step7 : Now you can work on ORACLE Database by using SqlPlus or SQL    Developer. You can download SQL Developer from the same link as mentioned in Step 1 .

Once downloaded, there is no need to install this set up. Just double click on SqlDeveloper , it will open. Provide the same USERNAME and PASSWORD. Now you are ready to work on your ORACLE Database.
